Colossians 2:12

Because Jesus was raised to life, by faith I will be raised to life.

Two happy proclamations about Jesus’ resurrection:
I. Jesus died, but God ___________ Him from the dead!  2:12
   A. Jesus suffered (Mark 15:15).
   B. Jesus died (Luke 23:46).
   C. Jesus was raised by God (Matthew 28:5-7).
   D. Jesus presented Himself alive to many people (Luke 24; Acts 2:32).

II. By ________, I can be raised from the dead!  2:12
    A. The right reaction to Jesus’ resurrection is faith.
    B. The realities of Jesus’ resurrection:
         1. Can it make my life better?  Col. 1:4-5
         2. Can it help me through the struggles of life?  Col. 3:1-3
         3. Can it assure me of where I will go when I die?  Col. 3:4
    C. What is your response to the resurrection? Acts 17:30-34
