Would you like to meet once or twice a month together for discipleship, (whether that’s studying the Word together, reading a book together, discussing tough questions or concerns with one another, etc) and with an emphasis on praying together at each meeting? If you would like to become a mentor, click the link below https://forms.gle/SCGuDW6RGFSVbiBR8 or if you would like more information, please email campusministry@findlay.edu DESPERATE NEED OF VOLUNTEERS FOR CITY MISSION KITCHEN Because of the great need in our community, at lunch and dinner time, we are now serving 80+ meals in the dining room to our residential guests, as well as an additional 40-60 meals to community members who pick up carry-out meals at our Donation Center doors every day. We are in need of 10 volunteers each day in the kitchen to help make, serve and clean up the meals. Now we are adding 2 sign-up slots to provide additional help with community meals from 4:30-6:00p. These needs apply to every day of the week. Please contact Volunteer Coordinator Julie Bishop at Juliebishop@citymission.org or findlaymission.org/volunteer.html HABITAT APOSTLE BUILD VOLUNTEERS NEEDED Volunteers needed for both shifts (8AM and 12:00PM) on September 3 for the Habitat Apostle Build. We need 15 people for each shift. We will be setting windows and exterior doors and blue board and other outside jobs. We also need a crew to feed our hungry workers, as well as food for our E-Free bunch. (about 35 people) Please sign up on the Connection Card. Over 25 years ago, CCH was started in conjunction with churches in our community to help in distributing emergency aid to our neighbors. We appreciate you continuing to entrust us with your outreach dollars. We are proud to be good stewards of your funds. So many people out of work, struggling to keep food on their table and pay their bills. That is where CCH comes into the picture – to be the hands and feet of Christ. But even our normal stream of income has been affected—by cancellation of fundraisers and our churches not able to worship together so donations are way down. But through this all, YOU have stepped up and helped our neighbors who are experiencing hardships. We are praying that you are able to continue to give your time, gifts, and treasures so that CCH can continue to help those in need.
