Eternal Lessons From Children
We had a great time with our SKY VBS this week. The focus of the week was that ‘Everything Is Possible with God,’ therefore we can trust Him no matter what. On Thursday we finished with a family night where the kids sang songs and we presented the message of salvation in Christ. Then we ate ice cream and played on really cool inflatables! (I took a ride or two or three or…on the water slide.) It was also great to meet many new families.
Don’t worry if you couldn’t attend any of the nights, you will get a sample of VBS this Sunday. The kids will sing, we’ll watch a picture slide show recapping the week, and learn from Matthew 18:1-4.
Thanks to everyone who helped! God used each act of service to put together a very impactful week.
Matthew 18:4 “Whoever then humbles himself as this child, he is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.”
Matthew 18:1-4 18:1 At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, “Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” 2 And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them 3 and said, “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. 4 Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
