Following God requires courageous faith.

Introduction: What is faith?  Hebrews 11:1, 6; 2 Corinthians 5:7

I. Courageous faith lets the LORD _________ the way, 3:1-11.

Let the LORD lead the way in your promotion, 3:7; 4:14

II. Courageous faith __________ out, 3:12-17.

A. Get ready!  Be fully devoted to Jesus

B. Get set!  Crossing the Jordan River

C. Go!  Stepping out in faith

D. “God will divide the river, but not until we step into the water.” – Ray VanderLaan

III. Courageous faith ______________ the LORD’s victory, ch. 4.

A. Remember the LORD’s mighty acts.

B. Pass them on to the next generation.
