2008 EFCA Doctrinal Statement
In 2008, after a long and thorough process of prayer, research, and consultation, the Evangelical Free Church of America voted to adopt a new doctrinal statement. This process was very helpful for our movement and it strengthened our beliefs about God, Jesus Christ, and Scripture. After careful review and consideration, the Elders of Findlay E-Free are proposing that our church adopt the 2008 EFCA Statement of Faith to replace the 1950 EFCA Statement of Faith. This proposal was made to the membership at our May 17, 2015 mid-year meeting, and will be voted on at our annual meeting in September 2015. In preparation for that meeting, we are offering many opportunities for you to be educated about this new doctrinal statement. Please take the time to look through the helpful resources listed below.
