We’ll be starting a Prayer Chain Ministry to lift up those in need. If you’d like to join the Prayer Chain Team, please mark the box on the Connection Card on Sunday. To add a prayer request to our Praise & Prayer Sheet, inform us of a need, or request a pastoral visit, please fill out the Connection Card or call the church office at 419.423.5636.
Pastor Adam Zaslavsky resigned for urgent health reasons at the end of 2009, after his strong tenure of 22 years at Findlay E-Free. He and wife Penny were here at our beginning, so he is our Founding Pastor, and now very clearly the subject of our prayers and the object of our appreciation. Our love for them and our thanksgiving will be observed by the whole church on a special Celebration Sunday, March 7, at Winebrenner Theological Seminary.
We will be celebrating the 22 year ministry of Pastor Adam and his family during a special service & reception in their honor. To help us prepare for this event, we are asking for photos and special memories of Adam & his family during their time here at E-Free.
Many people have asked how they can best honor Pastor Adam & Penny for their service. Cards & letters will be something they will treasure for a lifetime. Cash or checks made payable to the Zaslavskys to avoid complications with their disability benefits would also be greatly appreciated. Place cards & gifts in the box in the foyer any Sunday between 1/24 & 2/28. All gifts will be secured by the church until they are presented to Pastor Adam & Penny at the March 7 celebration.
