Youth Ministry

Our philosophy is that of a base camp.  We believe that we are not in Heaven yet but are here to join Jesus as He reaches people.   We come together to worship God, encourage, challenge, and help one another through the journey of life.  We come to be taught & trained from God’s word so that we can go out onto the front lines & win our world to Jesus.  This is a place where non-believers can come alongside believers to ask questions, to struggle with God, to find out God’s angle on the issues they face.  It is a place where you are loved and challenged to do something significant.

I would like to personally invite you to come and join us as we grow together in Christ, and make Him known to a needy world.

Our Mission is to

REACH

Jesus calls us to, “Go and make followers of all nations.”

One of our main focuses is on reaching out to teens and their families and invite them to come and follow Jesus also.

We attempt to do this in several ways:

Invite friends to come and experience authentic Christians loving, caring & growing.

  • Annual Paintball Outreach
  • Summer Airsoft groups
  • Overnighters
  • BCC Training
  • Soup Kitchen service

We are always developing, always tweaking, always growing in order to better reach our friends and neighbors for Jesus.

CONNECT

We know that relationships are very important to growing in our faith.

When you come to one of our events, you will see that you will be accepted and loved for who you are.  You will notice that we have a lot of fun together and also spend time being challenged to think through and grow in a relationship with Jesus.  You will see people, like yourself, who are learning, growing, questioning, and desiring a relationship with other Christians and with Jesus.  We offer many activities to help you get connected with other Christians here at E-Free:

GROW

A Christian is someone who grows in their faith.

Just as a plant needs nutrition to grow, so we need spiritual nutrition to grow in our faith.

Here is how we help teens grow in their faith:

  • Sunday School
  • Youth Group (SRC, SURGE, VOLTAGE)
  • Small Groups
  • Area Bible Studies
  • Winter Retreat
  • Summer Challenge Retreat
  • HABITS Training
  • Resource Shelf (YW)
  • Parent Resource Center
  • Life Coaching
  • One on One Discipleship

LIVE

“You follow me.” – Jesus to Peter

3 out of 10 teens continue to follow Jesus after high school.  The pressures of life often choke out the truth.  So how do we, as a church, equip teens to live a passionate life for Christ?

  • Follow up with teens after graduation
  • Opportunities to serve and get connected to the church NOW!
  • HABITS life skill training
  • Teach on issues teens will face after graduation
