Jeff Korhorn, Pastor of Student Ministries

Jeff Korhorn BA, MM. received his BA degree from Moody Bible Institute & his Master’s degree from Bethel College.  He is a certified Crisis Pregnancy & marriage counselor and is licensed with the Evangelical Free Church.  He has been serving as our full-time youth pastor since 2006.

Jeff is married to Shellie, and has three children: Benjamin, Micah, & Abigail.  He enjoys paintball, the outdoors, playing with his kids & talking to people.  Around town you will find Jeff working out, riding his bike, hiking with his family and their dog in the woods, or getting a latte for his wife.

Jeff’s main passion in life is to grow in His love for God & to help people become lifelong followers of Jesus.  A favorite verse is

Deuteronomy 6:4-5.  “Hear, O Israel! The LORD is our God, the LORD is one!  5″You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.

One other interesting fact about Jeff is that he has officially completed his “Bucket List” by seeing his third child come to Jesus & having recently traveled on a study trip in Israel.

Rob Tompkins, Pastor of Worship Arts

Rob’s family roots are in the Mississippi River town of Hannibal, Missouri, though he lived most of his childhood in the Pacific Northwest.  After turning from staunch atheism to follow Christ as a senior in high school, he received his Bachelors degree in Music Education from Hannibal-LaGrange College (where he met his wife, now of 14 years).  He earned his Masters degree in Music Theory from the University of North Texas.  As a “Teaching Fellow” at UNT, firmly entrenched in further studies, Rob was surprised to sense the Lord calling him to service on the ministerial staff of a church, focusing on music and worship.  In 2007 God brought Rob and Angela (and their 2 kids) out of west Texas to serve at Findlay E-Free.

Dave. dave-and-fran1

Dave Cass, Pastor of Adult Ministries

Pastor Dave’s responsibilities include developing E-Free’s adult education offerings on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings, as well as overseeing our Small Group ministry.  He and his wife, Fran, are the parents of three grown sons.  Dave and Fran both enjoy serving in teaching roles at E-Free; Dave regularly teaches an adult class and Fran teaches in Children’s Church.  Dave has a BA in Bible and Theology from Appalachian Bible College and has served as senior pastor at another church for 6 1/2 years.  Dave’s favorite verses are

2 Peter 1:2-4 2 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, 3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

I would love to welcome you to E-Free soon.

Traci Stump

Traci Stump, Office Coordinator

Traci received her BA in Special Education from Purdue University.  She has attended E-Free since she moved to Findlay in 1993, and joined the staff in 2000, first as Director of Children’s Ministries, and then in 2005, she became the Office Coordinator.  Traci oversees the operation of the church and E-Free’s various outreach ministries.    She loves being married to Mike and being the mother of two terrific daughters.  She also enjoys a good book, good friends, and good chocolate (ok — any chocolate), and can frequently be found working one of many crochet projects.

One of Traci’s favorite passages is

2 Corinthians 1:3-4: “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, 4who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.”

These verses remind her that God is our Comforter and that there is purpose to every trial we go through.

Alvin.

Alvin Lamb, Facilities Manager

Alvin’s life verse is:

Psalm 40:1-3  “I waited patiently for the LORD; And He inclined to me and heard my cry.  He brought me up out of the pit of destruction, out of the miry clay, and He set my feet upon a rock making my footsteps firm.  He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God; Many will see and fear and will trust in the LORD.”

Alvin has been taking care of the facilities for four years now and finds it very enjoyable working with the staff and members of E-Free.  When he’s not managing the church facilities, you will find Alvin out riding his motorcycle or lending a helping hand to everyone who calls upon him regularly.
